RealWorks participated in the 4th German-Turkish Economic Conference, held at TOBB in Ankara, Türkiye, on 13 October 2026, bringing together senior representatives from government, industry, and technology to discuss the future of defense, security, and strategic cooperation between Türkiye and Germany.

Organized in cooperation with AHK Türkiye, TOBB, DIHK, and TD-IHK, this year’s conference focused on the changing defense and security landscape, with discussions spanning industrial partnerships, supply chain resilience, critical infrastructure, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Bringing the Human Dimension into the Future of AI

RealWorks Founder & CEO Emre Yücel joined Ertan Barut, President of the TOBB Türkiye Software Council, for the Future, Technology & AI fireside chat, moderated by Cihat Onbaşı, SAP Solutions Manager.

Representing HaloForce by HaloScape, Emre shared RealWorks’ perspective on the growing importance of human performance intelligence in defense and mission-critical environments.

Developed within HaloScape’s health intelligence ecosystem, HaloForce brings together physiological, cognitive, and environmental signals to support operational readiness, risk awareness, and more informed decision-making in high-stakes environments.

Beyond defense applications, Emre addressed the broader intersection of healthcare, artificial intelligence, and technological innovation, including the implications of the EU AI Act. His remarks emphasized the importance of greater awareness, cross-sector collaboration, and moving with urgency as technological developments continue to accelerate.

The discussion highlighted a central consideration for the next generation of intelligent systems: technological advancement must be accompanied by a deeper understanding of its human, regulatory, and operational implications.

Strengthening Turkish-German Dialogue and Cooperation

The conference featured discussions on defense industry collaboration, joint production opportunities, tactical technologies, infrastructure security, and the evolving international security architecture.

The high-level program brought together prominent representatives, including M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB; Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of Türkiye’s Defence Industries Agency; Sibylle Sorg, German Ambassador to Türkiye; and Brigadier General Thomas Lowin, representing NATO.

During the conference, the RealWorks representatives also had the honor of meeting H.E. Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye.

For RealWorks, the conference provided a valuable opportunity to contribute to conversations about the role of emerging technologies across sectors and the importance of translating innovation into meaningful, real-world applications.

We extend our sincere appreciation to AHK Türkiye, TOBB, DIHK, and TD-IHK, as well as the distinguished speakers, moderators, and participants, for facilitating an important exchange of perspectives and strengthening dialogue between the Turkish and German business and technology communities.

RealWorks looks forward to building on the connections established in Ankara and continuing to advance technologies that bridge science, human intelligence, and real-world operational needs.
