RealWorks hosted a significant gathering at the Council of Europe titled "After the Disaster of the Century: Facts, Impacts, and the Role of Solidarity in Recovery." The event drew international attention to earthquake devastation and communicated urgent recovery needs to the global community.

Our Digital Team Leader presented on the critical importance of technology in disaster response. A standout feature was an immersive virtual reality experience enabling European Parliamentarians to virtually witness the destruction firsthand — creating greater understanding and motivation for action.

## Expert Voices

The event elevated voices from academia and the humanitarian sector. Prof. Dr. Haluk Özener from the Kandilli Observatory presented scientific earthquake data, while community leaders Ayşe Kırımlı and Ece Çiftci discussed humanitarian needs and the vital role of NGOs in recovery efforts.

The gathering facilitated international dialogue moderated by Ahmet Yıldız. Belgian Parliamentarian Simon Moutquin shared observations from visiting affected areas, while Turkish Parliamentarian Prof. Dr. Emine Nur Özkan Günay outlined Turkey's ongoing reconstruction efforts.
